Most dogs love socializing and taking your four-legged friend to a dog park is an easy way to make their day, as well as give yourself a chance to meet fellow dog lovers. The Fredericksburg Dog Park is a fenced-in area on Kenmore Avenue designed to give your pet some quality leash-free outdoor time.
The park is open from 7 am until 8 pm over the summer (it closes at 6 in the winter) and in accordance with law, dogs must be leashed upon entering the fenced area, but once you\'re inside it\'s safe to unfasten that leash and let your dog roam. Pups must be four mouths or older in order to use the park, and no more than 15 dogs are allowed into the park at once. Be sure that your dog is wearing a registration tag, as well as current rabies and vaccination tags. Water for dogs is provided by the park, but humans should bring their own.
The dog parks in Fredericksburg are a great resource for pet owners, and at Aquia Terrace, we take your pet\'s comfort seriously. Do you have any tips for pet owners in the community? Share them in the comments!
